  8. thanks to each of you for your comments, and to answer Diane asking me 'what gear I'm using'. I've updated the info and it can be found on my profile/interests. For most all my bird photographs I'm using the tele-converter lens, a 2012 purchase.

  18. Wonderful pictures! Up here in the United States, cockatoos are in most zoos, which helped make them one of my favorite birds when I was a child. I would love to see one flying free in the wild sometime.
