Flowering Prunus

Though the blossoms by now will have long finished, this beautiful prunus in flower was not in someone's garden, but found nestled amongst bushland.  A lovely visual surprise to come across, and photograph, even though definately not considered indigenous to the area.

I can easily imagine someone sitting under the shade of the trees at some time in the past, eating luscious fruit, and tossing the stones to the ground.  Years later, "someone" is sharing their lovely flowers around the globe, via the wonders of the internet.
