Bouddi National Park bushwalk #1

On the Central Coast this weekend ...

Maitland Bay was the destination.

 steps, lots of them

cycads/burrawangs in background

the angophora is hugging a unique cave-like boulder.  It's almost like it's stopped it in it's tracks, preventing it from rolling any further downhill

a side-step from the main pathway, and some views

yep .. it's the ocean

 angophoras

and turpentines at the fore.

  1. Those angophoras are neat trees! I like the big one holding the boulder! I laughed at the "No Unclad Bathing"! I guess that's a nice way of saying no skinny dipping.

  7. "No unclad bathing". I've not seen it termed like that before. You folks down under are so funny. Love the gnarly shapes of those trees.

thanks for visiting Snap Happy Birding, and for leaving a comment; I can still see them. Now both my blogs are resting in idle mode. It was time to give other things priority, even though I miss my regular blogging and the feedback that came my way over the years. Take care.
