Sunset over the bay

On the way home from Munmorah National Park (recent wild-flower series), I knew I'd be nearing 'the bay' near to home, right on sunset.  It was worth a quick detour.

as I arrived, and just in time it seems



and then ...  a beautiful hint of pink

 


a parting shot, there may have been another last 'flicker' but since there were only those couple weeny clouds I'd figured I'd pretty much gotten the best of it for today.  Now it's time to head home.  From my afternoon in the bush looking for wild-flowers, this was a very different, and sweet finale'.

    Wow Carole, you have spectacular sunset in your area, because the area provides lovely landscape. We also get fabulous sunsets, and they are right at my 5ht floor window in the city, we have sunrises in the province property. However, sunsets are not as good now during the rainy season. I guess i have to wait till February. Happy weekend.
