Rose: Double Delight

Picked this afternoon, the first Double Delight rose for Spring. Need I tell you that it not only looks delightful, but it also has a super-delightful perfume too. It's sitting here looking beautiful, beside my computer.  So it is mine to share, Double Delight, three times over; I couldn't decide which image I liked the best, can you?

  3. Gorgeous shots, Carole! I love Double Delight rose - such a beautiful perfume. I had one at my old house in my rose garden. It was one of my favourites along with Mr Lincoln (which also has an amazing perfume)!!

  26. Double Delight is my very favorite rose. It has incredible form and fragrance, and no two blooms are alike. I wish I had room for more. I only have two but they are precious. Beautiful close-up shots.

I think you need at least two views to get the overall beauty of this rose (it reminds me of the peace rose). What a wonderful fragrance to have right next to you!

thanks for visiting Snap Happy Birding, and for leaving a comment; I can still see them. Now both my blogs are resting in idle mode. It was time to give other things priority, even though I miss my regular blogging and the feedback that came my way over the years. Take care.
