the start of a new day, in the morning sunshine, up high in the angophora tree, a Sulphur-Crested Cockatoo
on the roof-top; I just happened to be having a cuppa break out in the garden, with my camera alongside, when I heard this Rosella
later in the day, raucous cockatoos with some ritual. Lots of screeching and head bobbing...
they sure know how to get the attention

ReplyDeleteHow beautiful to see these birds in the wild. GREAT PHOTOS Carole
ReplyDeleteGreat photos. Rosellas we don't have right around here. Cockies we do! They are fun to watch and they certainly put on a show for you.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful wild birds you have in your backyard - what a treat! Love your first cockatoo view looking up at him.
ReplyDeleteBoth birds are beautiful! The first photo of the Cockatoo is great with the deep blue sky and morning light. Those yellow "crowns" are very cool! The Rosella has lots of striking colors!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty birds, unfortunately, they live with us in a cage :-(
