Siamang Gibbons

Location: Western Plains Zoo, Dubbo, N.S.W.

no action; it was early afternoon and the sun was hot, that's when you take time out, on the shady side of a post

no-one was playing anymore

this one sat up and away,in the shade of the tree tops

You can see Rocketboy1950's u-tube video from this very zoo, with the Siamangs being very vocal and entertaining.

  1. Those black coats would be very hot in the sun! I like the way the sun is glistening on the fur in your photos.

thanks for visiting Snap Happy Birding, and for leaving a comment; I can still see them. Now both my blogs are resting in idle mode. It was time to give other things priority, even though I miss my regular blogging and the feedback that came my way over the years. Take care.
