Norah Head revisited - Part Two

The sun is starting to go down over the hill already

a little bit of boom, crash, opera happening

such fun to watch and while I'd aim at one spot, the next best shot seemed to be happening further along!  (coal ships to the left ..and right again)

it was hard to walk away from; always hoping for something more spectacular.  But the day was certainly drawing to a close in a hurry.  It was the first week after clocks being turned back and I hadn't realized how quickly it becomes dark with the early sunset.  I'd hoped to get further around the coastline for a sunset photo but didn't make it back in time.

  1. Very nice. It looks very much like some portions of our Sonoma coastline. I know the feeling...you wait and wait, and no sooner do you get up to leave, it happens and you've missed it.

  2. Love that last picture of the big splash. And the lighthouse too of course.

  3. You captured the of the peaceful sea and rocky coastline perfectly, Carole.
The white lighthouse perched atop the sand dune with the soft blue of the sky makes for a spectacular scene.
    cheers :)

thanks for visiting Snap Happy Birding, and for leaving a comment; I can still see them. Now both my blogs are resting in idle mode. It was time to give other things priority, even though I miss my regular blogging and the feedback that came my way over the years. Take care.
