Fridays Fences

Sandstone and wrought-iron, to one side of The Garden Palace gate at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Sydney.

Later addition via Fast Facts/Royal Botanic Gardens, indicating size of the Estate, maybe offers some comprehension of how easy it might be to actually arrive at one of the many given gateways, and find that the grounds have been closed while you were enjoying the surrounds:

Size of Estate: 64 hectares
Size of Garden: 30 hectares
Size of Domain: 34 hectares

  2. Whoa! I wouldn't even be tempted to climb that beautiful fence. (We got locked in to a water park once...came in a back door, hadn't even realized we were supposed to pay admission, thought it was just an ordinary park -- and then when we started out found out that all the gates were locked. We found a night watchman, who was nice.

thanks for visiting Snap Happy Birding, and for leaving a comment; I can still see them. Now both my blogs are resting in idle mode. It was time to give other things priority, even though I miss my regular blogging and the feedback that came my way over the years. Take care.
