Out in the fresh air and sunshine ..

Starting point for walking and exploring

Juvenile Fig Bird

now at Leneghans Swamp

this guy came down to check us out  ...

just some of the group

Out came folding chairs from car-boots for morning-tea time.  I got lucky with a nice coffee; no short-cuts here; nothing like home comforts on the side of the road!   A welcome respite from the hot sun in what shade could be found.

Another two locations visited will make up the follow-on posts, coming soon.

  8. thanks for lovely comments. Horst even though we call this 'morning-tea-time' it can be coffee or tea whatever you choose. It's just a reflection on the time of the morning suited for morning cuppa. This one's definately a coffee.

  10. The black swans are fascinating - likely because they are not found here. And the horse is a lovely portrait!

  11. Those black swans are so beautiful! Are the flowers in the green plants lillies? I like the fifth photo of the blue cloudy sky with the grass and branches in the foreground. Not to forget the lovely horse. Is that a brand I see on him, number 2!

thanks for visiting Snap Happy Birding, and for leaving a comment; I can still see them. Now both my blogs are resting in idle mode. It was time to give other things priority, even though I miss my regular blogging and the feedback that came my way over the years. Take care.
