Story of the little black birds

....it's been really lovely to hear feedback re my new blog header.  The little birds have settled in up top with such approval.

Perhaps I should tell you how they came about.

It was quite some years back when (starting to sound like a fairy-tale?) ....I was picking these hydrangeas.  They flower so prolifically, and ready for masses of indoor decoration each Christmas on my side of the world (ssshhh ... I know it's not all that far away again).

Believe me; this is taking you somewhere; next step is the big clue.

Had you already guessed by now I wonder?

Then, the Aussie stamp at the top right; it's a digital-graphic stamp made from one of my original paper-cuttings, on this post.

Those birds are just the perfect final touch. The flowers are breathtaking. Cooler here today - frost around the corner.

thanks for visiting Snap Happy Birding, and for leaving a comment; I can still see them. Now both my blogs are resting in idle mode. It was time to give other things priority, even though I miss my regular blogging and the feedback that came my way over the years. Take care.
