Bottlebrush (Callistemon)

The bottlebrushes are just about finished in our region now.  Saved this photo for Ruby Tuesday.  The rainbow lorikeets especially, love to climb amongst the brushes and sip the sweet nectar.

These photographs are just beautiful Carole.
I am quite sure we do not have these here. They are so unusual, and so lovely!

There's plenty of them here in Singapore, and due to our tropical heat, they bloom all year long.

We don't have bottle brush trees around here (Ohio) but I remember them from when I lived in California. Very interesting plants and pretty!

I love bottle brushes, they're just so very improbable :). Ours won't bloom for a few more months, mid-winter if I recall correctly.

Bottlebrush! Another plant I love to see. If I'm near one, it means I'm not in Kansas anymore! :-)
